Management training is essential to organizational success. In an effort to foster good management skills, the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion has created training modules that focus on improving an individual's skills as a leader and manager. Courses include topics on technical skills, conceptual skills and interpersonal skills. Each course contains elements that emphasize soft skills, such as communication and empathy, which enable better teamwork and more cooperative relationships among employees.
Courses are divided into two categories, Community College Management and Organizational Management/Leadership Learning. This initiative will launch in December 2020. The course topics include:
