​Remote Portal Replacement (AppStream)

The legacy Remote Portal solution at https://remote.rsccd.edu has been retired. 

To support remote work, we are introducing a new solution called AppStream.  This new solution offers secure access to on-site District resources while working remotely.

AppStream provides authorized RSCCD users access to a non-persistent virtual desktop that behaves as if you’re accessing a District PC on campus.

Summary of Steps for accessing AppStream

1. Go to www.office.com and sign-in with your Single sign-on credentials.
2. In the Office365 website, select the Apps Icon on the left navigation panel.
3. Under the Apps list, go to RSCCD Applications.
4. You will see two options for RSCCD AppStream:
• Select RSCCD AppStreaam to use the AppStream virtual desktop.
• Select RSCCD AppStream RDP to use Terminal Session (e.g., connect to Your District PC).
• NOTE: View the section for Connect to Your District PC through AppStream Desktop in our AppStream Remote Desktop Guide for further instructions.
5. When the AppStream website opens, select the Desktop icon.
6. Follow the prompts to sign in and launch the AppStream desktop.
