Santa Ana, Calif. –The Santa Ana College (SAC) Art Department will end its spring semester of exhibitions with a show featuring local high school students.
“This is an important yearly outreach tool by the SAC Art Department and it gives our high school student artists an opportunity to show their work in a professional art gallery every year,” said SAC gallery director Phil Marquez. “Many of these high school students will be future students at Santa Ana College.”
Students from Arnold O. Beckman High School (Irvine), Canyon High School (Anaheim), Century High School (Santa Ana), Crean Lutheran High School (Irvine), El Toro High School (Lake Forest), Garden Grove High School (Garden Grove), Rancho Alamitos High School (Garden Grove), Orange Lutheran High School (Orange), Santa Ana High School (Santa Ana) and Valley High School (Santa Ana) will share a total of 150 pieces with the public. Works will include drawings, paintings, ceramics, digital media and photography, with awards presented for outstanding work from each school.
