Judyanne Chitlik, Interim Vice Chancellor Human Resources
As Interim Vice Chancellor of Human Resources for the Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD), Judyanne Chitlik functions as the district’s chief human resources officer. Her responsibilities include labor negotiations, employee recruitment, selection, and discipline, fringe benefit administration, and risk management
Ms. Chitlik has worked in the Rancho Santiago Community College District since 1975 when she was hired into the District as an adjunct faculty member in the English as a Second Language (ESL) program in the Continuing Education Division. In 1980, she was hired as a full-time tenure-track ESL faculty member in that Division and subsequently transferred into the credit English/ESL program at Santa Ana College in 1986 where she then taught for 20 years.
During her tenure at Santa Ana College, Ms. Chitlik served as the Academic Senate President in 1988-1989 during which time AB1725 became law. In that capacity she provided leadership in implementing the provisions of that law. In 1990, the faculty elected her as President of the Faculty Association of the Rancho Santiago Community College District (FARSCCD), the union representing faculty in the collective bargaining process.
She remained in this leadership position for the ensuing 16 years.
In 2006 she assumed the position of Assistant Vice Chancellor of Human Resources and in July 2016 was appointed the Interim Vice Chancellor for Human Resources for the Rancho Santiago Community College District.
