SANTA ANA, Calif. – The Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD) Board of Trustees voted Monday to temporarily suspend Trustee Phillip Yarbrough from his Board officer positions pending completion of independent investigations.
Trustee Yarbrough remains an elected member of the RSCCD Board of Trustees. Board Vice President Dr. Tina Arias-Miller will serve as Interim Board President during the suspension.
“RSCCD remains focused on serving our students and communities and on the continued work of Santa Ana College and Santiago Canyon College,” Chancellor Marvin Martinez said. “I will continue to work with the Board of Trustees in support of the District's mission and operations.”
The District will provide additional information as appropriate.
