"From SoCal to Chi -Town” Highlights Works of SCC’s Annalise Copenhaver

SCC Alumna Art Exhibit from March 2 - April 20

(Orange, CA)—The Santiago Canyon College Art Department continues its year-long showcase of SCC alumni and is proud to have Annalise Copenhaver’s artwork on display beginning March 2 at the SCC Art Gallery.

"From SoCal to Chi -Town" will run from March 2 through April 20. An opening reception for the exhibit will be held on Thursday, March 2, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Gallery hours are Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and patrons can enter from the northwest corner of the D-Building.

“We are very excited to show the art that Annalise has been creating on since leaving SCC,” said SCC Art Department Chair Robbie Miller. “Guests will enjoy her latest work that is abstracted figuration filled with symbolic imagery.”

Since graduating from SCC, Copenhaver has completed her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the School of the Art Institute Chicago and has just returned from studying at the Ox-Bow School of Artists' and Residency.
