Art Exhibit features SCC Students from May 4 – May 30

(Orange, CA)—The Santiago Canyon College Art Department completes its 2016-17 Art Gallery series with its Ninth Annual SCC Student Show. It will be the first time this exhibit will be on display at the SCC Art Gallery.

The SCC Student Show will run from May 4 through May 30. An artist’s reception for the exhibit will be on Thursday, May 25, from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Patrons can enter the SCC Art Gallery from the northwest corner of the D-Building. Gallery hours run Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“This final exhibit of the year showcases the exceptional talent of our SCC students,” said SCC Art Department Chair Robbie Miller. “The pieces that the students have created are truly amazing. Guests will be able to see a variety of media spanning a wide range of topics. I’m so proud of our students and the hard work they have put in over the course of this year,” he added. “Giving students the ability to have their created visions on display for the world to see is something every artist should experience.”
