Santa Ana College’s Holiday Art Sale Set for November 30 and December 1

SAC Artists Showcased During Two-Day Art Sale

(Santa Ana, CA) - The Santa Ana College (SAC) Art Department will host its annual Holiday Art Sale at the SAC Main Art Gallery in the Fine Arts Building C, 1530 W. 17th St., Santa Ana, CA, 92706. Patrons will enjoy the two-day sale that will run from Wednesday, November 30, from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Thursday, December 1, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

“The Holiday Art Sale has been a SAC staple for the community for over 25 years and will feature jewelry, ceramics, blown glass, paintings, photographs and craft items from more than 20 different vendors that are SAC students, faculty, staff members, alumni and members of the SAC community,” said SAC Gallery Coordinator Caroline McCabe.

“While browsing the sale, shoppers will have the opportunity to enjoy an inviting mug of our now famous St. Nicholas hot apple cider and holiday treats,” McCabe revealed.

Portions of the proceeds from the Holiday Sale will benefit the SAC Art Department students in the form of awards, scholarships and other special programs.

“This event is a hidden treasure and I count on it as a place to sell my pieces,” said ceramist and SAC alum Connie Major. “Shoppers will quickly see that SAC students are producing art pieces worthy of an art gallery gift shop.”

“I look forward to the SAC Holiday Art Sale every year to find beautiful, well-crafted gifts and to help out the budding artists,” Major added.
