Santa Ana College Gallery Hosts Faculty Art Show

(Santa Ana, CA)—Santa Ana College (SAC) will host an opening reception in the SAC Main Art Gallery on Wednesday September 14, from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. for the exhibit, titled “Resident Artists 2016.” The show, which is free and open to the public, features the work of many faculty artists.

Art Department Chair and Gallery Director Phil Marquez, shared, “We don’t usually have an annual faculty exhibition like many other colleges, so this is a real treat for faculty, students and staff to see high caliber art from the professional, working artists who teach at Santa Ana College.”

Gallery hours are Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. “Resident Artists 2016” runs from September 14 through November 10, 2016.

The fall exhibition schedule for the two Santa Ana College galleries includes a Holiday Art Sale in the Main Art Galleryon campus, a veterans’ art show, and a digital media art show at the SAC Arts Gallery at the Santora Building located downtown in Santa Ana’s Artists Village.

The Main Art Gallery on the Santa Ana College Campus is located in the Fine Arts Building, Building “C,” room 101. Paid parking in visitor parking lots is available only in lots 6, 7, 8, and 9 for $2.00 for eight hours. Admission to the gallery is free. Santa Ana College is located at 1530 W. 17th Street, Santa Ana, CA, California.
