Santa Ana College Hosts Spring 2020 Convocation


(Santa Ana, Calif.) – Santa Ana College invites you to join us for Spring 2020 Convocation, this Friday, February 7, in Phillips Hall.

The program starts at 8:30 a.m. with a welcome from Linda D. Rose, Ed.D., president of the college, and a few words from Rancho Santiago Community College District Board of Trustees President Claudia Alvarez.

Dr. Rose will give a brief “State of the College,” followed by guest speaker, Deloitte executive and SAC graduate Kevin Wijayawickrama, who will provide expert insight on coming trends in various industries.

Rounding out the program will be a panel of SAC students discussing their vision for the future and how their college education factors into their vision.

Kevin Wijayawickrama is a senior partner at Deloitte, the largest global professional services firm, who combines industry expertise and strategic insight to advise national and global companies. As a senior partner, he leads multi-functional professional services teams in bringing Deloitte’s services to some of the largest companies in the life sciences and healthcare industry. He has also worked in the local community, working with Latino Health Access, Hope Builders (Taller San Jose), and the Santa Ana Unified School District through Deloitte’s IMPACT Day.
He has an Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Santa Ana College, a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from California State Fullerton and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California, Irvine.
