Santiago Canyon College goes golfing for scholarships

Orange—Santiago Canyon College will host the twelfth annual Hawks Golf Tournament at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club on Friday, April 27.

Funds raised from the tournament support the college’s athletic programs, provide scholarships for scholar-athletes, and support the SCC Foundation.

The event combines golf with a raffle, silent auction, and the famous Wrangler Grill dinner. Singles or foursomes can register to play 18 holes of golf with a shotgun start at noon. Prizes will also be given for closest to the pin, hole in one, longest drive, and the marshmallow drive. Preceding the tee-off, golfers can compete in a putting contest.

Registration is available online at www.sccollege.edu/golf. Early bird foursome registration is $800, until March 30. After March 30, foursome registration is $900. Single player registration is $225. Dinner-only packages are also available at $50 per person. The last day to register is April 20. On the day of the tournament, sign-in will begin at 10 a.m.

Tournament registration fees include lunch, green fees, golf cart, driving range, on-course beverages, tee gift bag, and dinner.
