Santiago Canyon College Athletics and Aquatic Center

The Santiago Canyon College Athletics and Aquatics Center is nearing completion. It is anticipated that the center will be open for classes by spring 2013.

The 72,200-square-foot Center will include a gymnasium, an Olympic-size swimming pool, fitness center, locker rooms, strength lab, training facilities and offices. The facility will cost $19.5 million.

Funds from Measure E, which voters approved in November 2002 providing $337 million for renovation and new construction at both Santa Ana and Santiago Canyon Colleges, was used to construct the new facility. The Center was designed by The Austin Company of Irvine.
