(Orange)—The Santiago Canyon College Foundation (SCC Foundation) invites the community to participate in its fourth annual Online Auction to support scholarships and program development at SCC.
Online bidding for auction items will begin at noon on Thursday, November 8, and close at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 15. Items that will be bid on include a foursome at Tustin Ranch Golf Club, tickets to Universal Studios, Sea World, Medieval Times, Knott’s Berry Farm, and more. Once the auction has gone live, it may be accessed at www.sccollege.edu/auction.
In 2009, the college launched the online auction as a way of “going green.” The auctions have proven to be an innovative way to reach out to the community.
“We appreciate the support of our communities,” said John Hernandez, the SCC Foundation director and vice president of student services. “Participating in the online auction helps support our students’ academic achievement. Because of the success of this fundraiser, we are committed to ‘stay green’ this year and for years to come.”
The Online Auction Committee is currently seeking auction items and sponsorship support. If you would like to become an auction sponsor, donate an auction item, or make a financial donation, please contact Julie Restivo at (714) 628-4790 or at restivo_julie@sccollege.edu. For more information, you may also contact Brenda Hohnstein at (714) 628-4963 or at hohnstein_brenda@sccollege.edu.
