Seventeenth Annual Hawks Golf Tournament on April 21 Supports Santiago Canyon College

(Orange, CA)—Santiago Canyon College Foundation (SCCF) is set to host its seventeenth annual Hawks Golf Tournament on Friday, April 21, at the Tustin Ranch Golf Club. Supporters and friends of the college will enjoy a day of friendly competition to raise money for the Hawks Fund, as well as various clubs and programs on campus.

This year, the net proceeds will be distributed between the Hawks Fund and various clubs and programs on campus. Players may designate a particular club or program they wish to donate to. The funds raised through this tournament provide supplemental dollars to ensure that SCC students continue to receive the high-quality educational experience that they both deserve and need to succeed, right here, right now. Examples of programs supported include: Hawks Nest Food Pantry, Veterans Services Office, Forensic Debate Team, and Theatre Arts, just to name a few. For a complete list, go to www.sccollege.edu/golftournament.

Registration is now open. Foursomes that pay by March 31, 2017 receive a 10 percent discount. Registration includes a round of golf, golf cart rental, goodie bag, on-cart lunch, tickets for the raffle prizes, and dinner. Non-golfers who want in on the fun can opt to purchase dinner only for $50.

On tournament day, registration begins at 10:00 a.m.; pre-tournament events include a putting contest and review of raffle prizes. The tournament scramble begins at noon. Throughout the day there will be on-course contests that include men’s/women’s closest to the pin, longest drive and marshmallow drive.
