SAC Student Leadership Institute Set for March 17-18

SAC Partners with CSUF for Two-Day Seminar

(Santa Ana, CA)—Santa Ana College (SAC) in partnership with California State University-Fullerton (CSUF), will be hosting its Student Leadership Institute (SLI) on March 17 and 18 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at SAC in rooms A210 and A130. The program consists of a series of seminars over two intensive days covering a range of leadership development topics. While the deadline to apply for this year’s program has passed, the SLI program is free and open to any current SAC student and is offered each spring.

Seminars include: Culture and Gender, Diverse Community, Effective Leadership, Public Speaking, Marketing Your Leadership Abilities, Time Management, Creating Networks/Interviewing Skills, Ethical Decision Making and Teamwork and Collaboration.

Keynote speakers for the two-day event will be Mark Hartley, dean of student life at Norco College, on March 17 and SAC’s vice president of academic affairs Carlos Lopez, on March 18.

Participants will be recognized and receive their completion certificates at the end of the school year at CSUF.
