Keeping the Promise to Voters
Measure E

Modern educational facilities, equipped with the latest technology, are critical to student success and job placement.

In 2002, voters overwhelmingly supported the passage of Measure E, a $337 million general obligation bond for new construction and facility modernization.

Thanks to your support of Measure E, thousands of current and future generations of students are benefitting from your investment, as upgraded facilities enhance student sucess.  Last year, the district awarded 3,834 associate degrees, professional certificates and certificates of achievement. In addition, more than 2,520 students transferred to University of California, California State University and private college campuses.  Countless more received the coursework and job training they needed to be gainfully employed.
