Summertime and Learning Go Hand in Hand
At Rancho Santiago Community College District (RSCCD), summer can be as active as any other season, and that is no exception this year.
Here are just some of the opportunities this summer at RSCCD.
Summer Session
By taking advantage of summer session, many students reach their completion goals that much faster. Whether it’s currently enrolled students at Santa Ana and Santiago Canyon colleges or students enrolled at four-year institutions, summer classes at SAC or SCC are a great and affordable option.
Students looking to satisfy their general education requirements, take high-demand classes, boost their job skills, or cultivate new interests will have plenty of possibilities to choose from when the summer classes begin on June 18 at Santa Ana and Santiago Canyon colleges. At SAC, eight-week classes run from June 18 to August 12, six-week classes run from June 18 to July 26, while four-week classes run from June 18 to July 12 and from July 16 to August 12. At SCC, eight-week classes run from June 18 to August 12, while four-week classes run from June 18 to July 15 and from July 16 to August 12.
Credit classes remain $45 per unit making college both affordable and attainable. Financial aid is available and, for eligible California residents, the California Community Colleges Promise Grant waives enrollment fees.
