As the provision under the CARES Act of Emergency Paid Sick Leave (EPSL) was not renewed past December 31, 2020, the District has agreed to continue an equivalent entitlement of paid sick leave of up to 80 hours (part-time employees receive a pro-rata amount) for this fiscal year. Employees are entitled to this leave with medical verification, on a one-time basis.
The District hopes that in light of the current unprecedented uncertainty related to the surge of COVID cases this will provide some reassurance to all our employees.
