Santa Ana College to Hold its Annual SacDays: 2019 Student Success at College Conference, Aug. 19-20

 

All new and existing SAC students are encouraged to attend informative workshops to help navigate the college experience and ensure success

(Santa Ana, CA) – Santa Ana College (SAC) announced that it will hold its annual SacDays: 2019 Student Success at College Conference on Monday, August 19 and Tuesday, August 20. The event offers new and existing students more than 60, one-hour workshops to help them successfully navigate their college experience and beyond.

SacDays: 2019 Student Success at College Conference will offer students such workshops as Career and Academic Pathways (CAP); Career Exploration: Super Strong; Financial Aid; How to Apply for SAC Scholarships; SAC Honors Programs; Study Skills and Strategies for Success; and more. New and existing students are encouraged to attend those workshops that are most relevant to their individual needs.

“Year after year, our students consistently report SacDays as a key event that prepares them for college. Students are able to get answers to their questions and feel confident and comfortable on their first day of school,” stated SAC President Linda D. Rose, Ed.D. “I strongly encourage all new and continuing SAC students to attend.”

SacDays: 2019 Student Success at College Conference will be held Monday, August 19, from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.; and Tuesday, August 20, from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on the SAC campus outside Dunlap Hall. Free parking is available in Lot 6 behind Dunlap Hall. The college is located at 1530 W 17th St., Santa Ana, Calif. 92706.
