Santiago Canyon College Showcases Student Andrew Stocks’ Photography

​(Orange, CA)— Santiago Canyon College (SCC) student Andrew Stocks will showcase his photographs in a solo exhibit at the SCC Art Gallery between March 15 and April 12.

Stocks’ show, Capture Your Dream, highlights his digital photography and the work he has accomplished for SCC capturing students and the environment around campus.

“The content of his work revolves around fantasy tales,” said Robert Miller, SCC gallery director and art department chair. “He takes inspiration from contemporary television shows and films to create his own stories with his friends as models. His photographs focus on portraits and environments, and he digitally manipulates them to confuse reality and fantasy.”

Stocks’ Capture Your Dream exhibit will include a five photograph series both in print and digitally displayed on a monitor.

The SCC Art Gallery is open Monday – Thursday from 11 a.m.-3 p.m., or by appointment. An opening reception is scheduled for Thursday, March 15 from 4-6 p.m. Visit www.sccollege.edu/artgallery for more information.
