While law enforcement officers have the right to make arrests and to serve warrants to students and staff on campus, they should be encouraged to accomplish this in such a fashion as to cause the least possible disturbance to the college and the instructional program. District Safety should work closely with law enforcement agencies to ensure appropriate procedures are followed.
