WHAT:
On Friday, August 21, at 8:30 a.m. some 500 Santa Ana College (SAC) faculty, staff, students, alumni, trustees, administrators, and retirees will gather at the John Ward Track and Practice Field (near the college gymnasium) to take a “family photo.” Everyone has been encouraged to show their college spirit and wear the college colors—red and black—and the college logo on t-shirts, hats, team jerseys or uniforms.
Between 8:30 a.m. and 8:45 a.m., the SAC “family” will be asked to file onto the practice field where they will take part in forming a living S-A-C.
The college may have turned 100, but the methodology for the photo is anything but old. The large group photo will be captured using drone technology. Still photos and time lapse photos of the process will also be captured for posterity.
The drone photo will be taken at 8:45 a.m.
