Spring Classes Begin on January 11
(Santa Ana, CA)—Considered by many to be one of the best kept secrets in education, Rancho Santiago Community College District provides extensive continuing education through Santa Ana and Santiago Canyon Colleges that are free, noncredit courses and include cutting-edge technology classes such as Windows 10, Adobe Creative Cloud and 3-D Animation. The spring 2016 class schedule is available online at www.sccollege.edu/oec or www.sac.edu/cec and classes run from January 11 through June 4, 2016.
Offered to adults 18 and older, continuing education courses are located in multiple locations in central Orange County and are very flexible with an open/entry, open/exit policy so students may enroll or exit the class at any given time during the semester provided there is available space.
Continuing Education programs include Adult Short-Term Career Technical Education (computer applications), Adult Basic Education, Adult High School Diploma, GED Test Preparation, English as a Second Language, Parenting Education, Health and Safety, Citizenship and courses for Older Adults and Adults with Substantial Disabilities. Most staff members are working professionals in their respective industries who offer practical application of course materials and ongoing support.
In addition to employment training, computer skills and leadership courses, the colleges’ continuing education programs offer extensive counseling services to enrolled students providing academic guidance, career planning and academic counseling.
