Santiago Canyon College’s Office of Student Equity and Success, Student Life and Leadership and Associated Student Government in conjunction with Towne Street Theatre will present “The Meeting,” a play by Jeff Stetson. Directed by Nancy Renee and produced by Nancy Cheryll Davis and her assistant Sierra Smith, “The Meeting” is a dramatically compelling play depicting a fictional meeting between Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. While standing firm in their individual philosophies, the pair debate their approach to the same grave social problems. The presentation is stage managed by Kristina Roth and stars Donathan Walters as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Daron P. Steward as Malcolm X and Adrian Ziegler as Rashad.
