(Orange) - Rancho Santiago Community College District announces the appointment of Aaron J. Voelcker as assistant dean for institutional effectiveness and assessment at Santiago Canyon College. In this role, Voelcker oversees and implements college-wide planning, assessment and research activities to increase student success and overall institutional success. He coordinates strategic planning processes that integrate program review to establish annual and long-term goals.
With nine years of experience in higher education, Voelcker served as a research analyst at Antelope Valley College. In that role, he performed extensive and technical planning, design, and research of institutional effectiveness components: student learning outcomes, program review and integrated planning. His research and evaluation encompassed matriculation, instructional and non-instructional programs and services, as well as a variety of internal and external issues.
Previously, he served as a statistical consultation technician at the University of California, Irvine (UC Irvine).
Voelcker earned an A.S. in math and science from the College of the Canyons, a. B. A. in psychology from UC Irvine, and an M.S. in organizational administration from the California State University, Bakersfield.
