  • Review the role of RSCCD Goals in the RSCCD Planning Design
    • Challenge #1 INCREASE IN STUDENT DEMAND:  How can RSCCD serve a greater number  of students?
    • Challenge #2 EMPHASIS ON DEGREE AND CERTIFICATION COMPLETION:  How can RSCCD support student completion of degrees and certificates?
    • Challenge #3 CALIFORNIA ACHIEVEMENT GAP:  How can RSCCD support all students' success?
    • Challenge #4 ADULT EDUCATION CHALLENGE:  How can RSCCD meet the community's needs for adult education?
    • Challenge #5 FISCAL CHALLENGE:  How can RSCCD meet the increasing and wide-ranging needs of its community with reduced levels of state funding?
  • RSCCD Draft goals 2013-2020
    • RSCCD Draft Goal 1:  RSCCD will assess the educational needs of the communities within RSCCD boundaries and will adjust instructional programs as needed to ensure alignment between students' needs withe services provided.  (Challenges 1,4, and 5)
    • RSCCD Draft Goal 2:  RSCCD will assess the educational needs of the communities within RSCCD boundaries and will pursue partnerships with educational institutions, public agencies, and business/industry to collaboratively meet those needs.  (Challenges 1,4, and 5)
    • RSCCD Draft Goal 3:  RSCCD will annually improve the rates of student completion of requirements for transfer, degrees, certificates, and diplomas.  (Challenges 2,3, and 4)
    • RSCCD Draft Goal 4:  RSCCD will support innovations that result in quantifiable improvement in student preparedness and success.  (Challenges 2, 3, and 4)
    • RSSCD Draft Goal 5:  RSCCD will demonstrate the effective use of resources by implementing and assessing sustainable cost-saving measures and a cycle of integrated planning.  (Challenge 5)
